It reminds me of you.
I close my eyes and you are there.
I can still feel your silky hair,
Your graceful touch of satin that tantalizes my skin,
The warmth of your embrace.
Our love was majestic like the eagle soaring high in the sky.
Every day was like walking in the clouds.
I remember the sun rises and sunsets spent together.
Each one locked away as a precious gem.
I still remember the night you went away.
I visit the scene every night in my slumber.
I try to change what has happened,
But cannot.
I awaken to find your still gone but…
