Blazing Moon

Blazing Moon

A Poem by Cully45
"

A mystery at night

"

Hidden beneath the wandering clouds

The Moon sits all aglow

The shimmering, shifting mass of nature’s mist

Passes by so slow

Taking its orbital path

In an eerie scene

Out on its nightly vigil

Looking sad but serene

One moment the Moon in full view

The next peeking out as if hiding

Playing a game of hide and seek

On a mystery its riding

Just like a flaming core

Bursting out from within

Its nightly shelter shrouds it perfectly

As its hide and seek ritual it begins
