I'm feeling optimistic...

I just want to keep going....

Life can't get me down

and neither can you.

 

If you break my heart

I'll find some glue

if you hurt my feelings

I'll pick up my pride.

You can't get me down.

I'm so optimistic.

Optimism is a quality that should be well regarded...those who are able to see the "glass half full", have a leg up on the "half empty's". I liked the idea for this, as there is a strength in your words that speaks like a person with thier head held high. I would have liked to have seen a little more, had you go a little deeper, but perhaps in another piece. Nicely written.

This is a heart raiser. :) I thought that nothing was going to go right but this poem has inpired me to stick with modeling for the money and sing at clubs and kareoke nights just for the fun of my heart. :) thanks for writing this
