Delete and Block

Why do you say it?
It really hurts me,
don't you know,
how rude you are?
I dont mean any harm,
but you force me to hate you,
by clicking delete,
and a simple 'block'

a writer online, minato namikaze, have say he hates my wriitng, and it sucks. I feel so bad! Not that the review is constructive, he just type 'I hate it'...... Lots of unfriendly words, and yeah, I delete him as my friend. But really, do I suck at writing that I should stop writing?

It sounds as though he should be called 'kamikazi' LOL It's upsetting when someone vents their negative feeling son you - but you did the best thing - block him and move on. Leave him to his problem and get on with writing what you enjoy. Constructive criticism is one thing, flaming is another..

Still... you wrote a good little poem as a result!

Hell no you shouldn't stop writing. No one on this site is perfect. Some are better than others, sure, but that's why we're here. We're supposed to be supportive and give criticism in order to get better. The writers that are better should be helpful rather than disparaging. To hell with him. Good for you for blocking him.

I have never understood the concept of flaming... why is it that some people feel like they are above others? even a most refined poet has something to learn from the novice... now to the poem, I think its simple but tells alot about the person and emotion behind it, even tho it has no obvious pattern or rhyme I really like the pace at which you read it and the snappy "block" at the end. good write. :)
