Lightweight

Lightweight

A Poem by Ben Taylor

I tasted happiness.
It scalded and scratched at my throat as I swallowed it.
I vomited it out in mere minutes.
Now I'm hungover as f**k,
And my loneliness feels cold
And three sizes too big.
