RelocateA Poem by Ben TaylorHands clenched in the grass beneath me, I stare sadly at the nocturnal skin that has stretched from horizon to horizon, speckled as it is with innumerable freckles and endearing blemishes. With so many brilliant pin-pricks to choose from, it shouldn't be nearly this difficult to find one to fixate upon; to find one to watch, to connect with. But with every blink or involuntary flicker of the eyes my gaze is broken and I am unable to re-locate the star I had chosen. But this time my eyes never unfocused. Instead, as I watched intently, the incredibly distant glimmer amorously twinkled once and disappeared.
