Here we are now

we're in this world together

still two of the closest friends

although we barely see each other

but, sometimes I think

that this could've ended differently

I mean, this love could've been meant to be

because I think that..

you and I were perfect for each other

and no-one else could see it

but that's the thing...

that was the game of love we played..

and we kept it quiet

like a hidden secret.

But this love ain't what it used to be

least that's how it seems..

cause you and I

we look at it like it was just a dream

cause when I look over

your no longer next to me

and I know you wish it hadn't ended..

it was over too soon..

said and done, we moved forward
