silent without a word

I usually try to avoid love poems but here is one

let me tell you of a solitary bird
it sings its lonely song tonight
let me tell you of the stars
or why they shine so bright

I will tell of the easy breeze
that softly combs our hair
walk in forest moonlit paths
talk of trees and flowers there

or look true into my eyes
let me speak to you of love
silent but a song you hear
silent silent without a word

See, this is my point. I just left a review on another poem about how everyone else seems to be writing love poems lately, haha. I'm going to take this as a sign that I need to write something related to love again, seeing as I haven't done so in months.

Anyways, I really like this. I like how short it is and how well you describe love in it. I feel like you could even leave the word "love" out of it, and it would still be obvious that it's about love, because it's so well written. Really great work. :)
