Welcome to Wonderland

Little girl, you dare to harvest hate for us

After we picked you out of the rubble and dust

And the decrepit remnants of a life shunned by love

Don't you worry, you will get what you want

The mad hatter will follow you to the grave

You want to hear silence scream, have it your way

Welcome to Wonderland Alice, your damnation

The utopia you wanted to be more than a notion

Now take a good look through the mirror's eyes

At the place you thought would be paradise

For so long old oaks have danced in the zephyrs

But never changing was your dream desire

For an oasis born in the flames of tranquility

Tell us, is it everything you thought it would be?

The mad hatter will follow you to the grave

The rabbit has showed you how wrong you were a second too late

And now this is your fate

Welcome to Wonderland Alice, your damnation

The utopia you wanted to be more than a notion

Now take a good look through the mirror's eyes

At the place you thought would be paradise

You're left with a teacup that will never fill

Until the day your breath grows still

A wishing well won't save you now, a shooting star won't hear you out

I hope that you are happy now, wearing your fool's gold crown

Welcome to Wonderland Alice, your damnation

The utopia you wanted to be more than a notion

Now take a good look through the mirror's eyes

At the place you thought would be paradise

You're left with a teacup that will never fill

Until the day your breath grows still

my pleasure :)
LOVED the rhyming. What a great poem, I enjoyed reading it and it made the character of Alice much more comparable to myself and others.
