The Old Ram Rod

The Old Ram Rod

A Poem by Daniel Sutheran
"

Dedicated to.

"
You there, with the softest, doux voice,
Sing to me, with the softest syllables.
Sing to me, with the words, the words calm and bright,
that do nothing but calmly project your might.

You there, with the sorry look,
Look to me, with the sorry, sullen face.
"Time let me play and be", oh, she
barely had enough grip for you to truly see.

You there, with the passion in your eyes,
Growl to me, with the passionate verse.
Burst in flame, your coal black soul,
for you know better than any of your toll.

You there, with the childish cheeks,
Sing to me, with your matured, broken mind.
"Time let me play and be", oh, no,
never has a coal black soul touched me so.

Another dark, or maybe it's just my interpretation, but powerful poem. I don't quite get the title though, would you mind to elaborate on that?
