My soul

I'm all alone again. Oh...wait...thats nothing new.

Once, it was an empire,
Now its a land of a vampire,
Seeking blood.
Long ago, before the flood...

There was light,
There was life,
Now its all just the lies of
others, who think hope never dies,
It just did.
I could belive in people,
After this tragic one,
I don't belive in anything, or anyone
My "soul" is a wreck,
In the wall, a large crack.

All I've got left,
Is a question ...?

"Now its all just lies of those who think hope never dies". These lines struck me hard. When we go into this dark place people optimism and happiness can become this irritation. Not because we dont want people happy, but because all we can think of is reality. But this is such a dangerous place to be in. And you expressed it well. Wonderful poem.

Ow... Dear HOPE never dies. It never. As long as you keep it alive. I know it must have been very hard time. But nothing is IMMORTAL in this world. Believe me, not the Happiness nor the Pain. It will go away. As time heals wounds with a passage of time ... :) Nothing can let U down as long as U don't give it a power to let U down. Thanks for sharing your AMAZING POETRY! :)
