reverie

i've dreamed of you dancing in the moonlight,

 

the moon looked so happy, the stars were all in sight.

 

you were a part of the horizon, a wonderscape that made me feel so alive.

 

then as you got tired, i came to you

 

and together we gazed upon a beautiful sight,

 

eyes closed, fingers crossed...

 

and after a long warm embrace, we walked together  under the moonlight

 

and wished we could fly and stop time for tomorrow,

 

we still have to wake up.
