Entry #2

Today is my eighth birthday. That's why I even have this. I didn't mention that. But yeah. This is my only gift. We don't really have much money to get us each a bunch of gifts. But I deal with it. I love this journal. It helps me get out my thoughts. I know. Eight year olds. Aren't very thoughtful. But I'm smarter then most. My dad always would study with me before... Never mind. I don't want to talk about it. The real reason I'm writing. I had a dream. Well. It was more like a nightmare. 

It was dark and I was sitting on my bed. I saw something move and then lost sight of it. This scary demon voice called out. 

"I took him. I took your father. And I'm going to take YOU!" After the last word was screamed. I woke up screaming and haven't been able to go back to sleep since. I don't know what it means. Maybe my brain is just trying to remind me of what tomorrow is. I don't know. All I know is. I need to get some sleep. Hopefully that thing in my mind wont come back.
