It hurts

Yeah. I know. 

Most people. 

Don't even give a thought. 

But I think about it. 

Every day. 

And it haunts me. 

No one gets. 

How much I wish. 

I could reset. 

Everything. 

People have done to this world. 

We were lucky enough. 

To be given this one. 

And we are ruining it. 

And no one f*****g cares. 

Yeah, You can make all the jokes you want. 

Do whatever pleases you. 

But it hurts me. 

Ever heard a fake laugh? 

Tell me an environmental or animal joke. 

That's against it. 

Then you'll learn. 

Do you guys get...

How hard it was. 

To give up my pledge. 

To vegetarianism.

Because I got picked on. 

Everyday. 

Or because. 

My mom "couldn't afford my food" 

Or because I was gaining weight. 

I've wanted to go back. So bad. 

But all the taunting will start again. 

And I hate it. 

I know most people. 

Don't care. 

But I do...

I care. I've accepted the title "stupid hippie" because that's what people cut me off to say every time I opened my mouth to voice my opinion on the subject. I don't participate in class debates about anything political because I'm a "stupid hippie". I'm not a vegetarian because my family "prefers meat" and "accomodating the change is just too difficult". I laugh at jokes about the environment or animal rights, or people rights and racism for that matter, because if I don't I'm a "stuck-up, self-riteous b***h". I'm too serious and I think I'm better than everyone else because I actually care about the world I live in and I want to make it a better place, they say. I got kicked out of an environmental club in middle school because I wanted to try and clean up the entire river instead of just the little section that is considered school property. The world is so fucked up because of people and most of the world doesn't give two s***s about it. Adults say it's the kids job, they're the future. Kids say it's the adult's job, they caused it. And nothing gets done. We just sit in the stinkin' roting cesspool of our own creation because no one is willing to step up and fix the problem, except for a select few who aren't really able to do much because of the sparsity of their numbers. People need to care. If we want to point blame, it is the people's fault. The people should fix it. And I, for one, am sad to be one of those people and sad that there's so few of us willing to understand it.

Me and yew suffer from a lot of the same issues. And I'm glad someone can understand what I'm saying. I understand all of this. And I agree with some of the points.
