And Never Shall We Part, My Love
A Poem by
chandlerl
Under a skullen moon I stand,
hands, outstretched in a morbid thanks.
The graves around me
shimmer in that moonlight.
I touch your haunted expression,
open those unseeing eyes.
Press my lips to yours,
To Death do us part, is what they said.
But not even that,
can keep me from you.
