Safety

A love, boarding on the edge of unhealthy,

isn't that what this is?

 

In and out of the relationship,

In and out of anger,

In and out of...

well....

 

But always in love.

There's arguements,

disagreements,

not always handled right.

On either side.

So much history,

good and bad.

So much love,

heartbreak,

trust broken,

forged and mended back again.

 

Long distance is hard,

but it's just for the moment.

Soon I'll be with you.

To be able to lie with you again.

Not just the sex,

but the feel of you breathing,

of your cheek, soft against mine

and your body, warm against mine.

 

Safe.

Safe.. is what we all want to feel, this makes me feel it a little safer in my search for finding that feeling of being safe. Good write, it cuts like a knife into the mind and soul of the reader and sets in the realization of what it feels like to be human and to be safely cherished.
