My heart has exploded 

My mind had slipped 

My my life is hanging on 

By mere wires 

I'm disappearing 

I can't breathe

I think the last two lines sum it nicely and make the reader (me) smile. It felt like she was panicked at first but then the calming finish allowed us all to breathe again.
