Peace & LoveA Poem by David KwakuLife turns me into a by-product. Out of my nothingness, my proclaim adversity churn the core of my existence. I can feel the air I breathe, my tongue yearn the selective sweetness of my desire. I smell the odour both of good and evil. In the lake of this wall I can see the reflection, both light and dark. Suicide leaks from my vessel, how else can I endure this pain? Friend or foe? I do not need the elevation of the world who eat through my flesh and bone. Time does not provide, all I want is time to correct the past and make amend with the future. Resurrect the love I once lost in a battle to find my identity, nothing is certain but hope keeps me alive. The sun falls and the moon rises with the night, like a dust, fire flies gloom through the emptiness of space. My heart sinks in and for a moment, it all came rushing back like the wave of the sea. I realise, it is you that I love. © 2012 David KwakuReviews
