CompassionA Poem by David KwakuInvoke the remedy of my verse, which causes the ink to reform the lines of my words. A deluge of sweet perfume as your chariot passes by, the fragrance of your heart alchemy. Assist me through the moons delight, kiss my lips, bring to me my soul as my pale skin finds life. Every night my eyes close and wonder into darkness, my mind assemble memories into dreams. Awake me from my slumber, how I miss the reality of your name. The essence it brings, which sprouts from a mustard seed into a tree of fruitful compassion.
