Sand and Grit

Sand and Grit

A Poem by David P. Eckert
"

Winter mess

"

Sand and Grit

Sand and grit take over

An aftermath of ice née snow

The salty residue

Greying floors, walks, cars

Even the snow looks worn and old

We work, drive, live

Through this gray time

Chromatic cataract

Shadow out all color

As we fight through the fog

I have to write another review to get your points up on this one. Each time one is done, even though I can't actually give you a star, one point is given to you. I think this should be a ten but we all know why it isn't.... hint....

I find this a wonderful read, it paints such a graphic picture of winter. I can almost feel the cold. Good write. T

YOU KNOW WHAT DAVID, THIS IS THE BEST YOU HAVE WRITTEN AS OF YET! WhO is ThAt pErSooon saying you suck. Let me find his work and read it.

Carlos... You don't know poetry very well and I wouldn't expect that you would know something good right before your eyes. So I won't hold it against you.

Krystal To you DAVID !0 POINTS! GO DAVID
