Teenage love can ruin you if you let it

This poem will hopefully be easy for the youth of today to relate to. It's simply about what the title say's, teenage love, and the down side of it.

I can’t help when it happens
I can’t fight it off
It’s deep enough to swim in
Just like an ocean trough
I can’t accept the way it occurs
I can’t sleep with it at night
It’s bright enough to call the sun
so flammable it ignites
I can’t dream up anything like this
I can’t swallow so much truth
It chokes me with it’s bemusement
It taunts me with it’s youth
I can’t cry over it anymore
I can’t sit and wonder why
It’s ruining me fast enough
So consider this goodbye
