Remorse for the girl who wears black...

Remorse for the girl who wears black...

A Poem by opaque-writer
"

poem

"

he does not know her feelings

she stands an awkward guard

she thinks so highly of "him"

but she thinks he does not see her

And I pity the girl who wears black

I pity the girl who stays back

I pity the girl who won't say

I pity the girl who writes away

and deep inside she writes

of beauty

of darkness not of light

but still, of serenity...

but she writes of torment

she writes of lament

she writes of being different

she writes of her descent

And I pity her!

as she writes only to say:

"I will wear the mask,

so no one will ask

and pretend it's nothing

because I love him...."

True love unfolds

agonizing to her as told

by the torturers who smile

as wicked as those who beguile

But...she does not know

what elegance...

she holds inside

that "he" sees in her

"He" watches

when she never looks

and "he" carrys the same curse

as her...

(for you, and you know who you are...)

This is so wonderful, it reads like a song i really liked these lines here,

"And I pity the girl who wears black
I pity the girl who stays back
I pity the girl who won't say
I pity the girl who writes away"

Wonderful, this flows and has rhythm, well written.
