Human, yet adoredA Poem by opaque-writeryou are flawed as am I causing leaps of awe crashing through the skies
and we sit side by side and lean on to another to watch the tide
and I wonder about this dream how vivid and real it seems so I pince my pale flesh only to disprove my guess
this is real as you and I are human yet adored....
you giggle and begin to lean on my shoulds then on my lap and you look into me and my body shudders, and then it reacts
she giggles again and her arms pretend to wrap etherially around my neck
and my face turns crimson and I shudder, I'm nervous your so close to me but I feel we were meant to be
and we embraced... with lips fused to each other... time stops and the waves go silent even the wind goes quiet
I pull back my body no longer quivering and you still smiling placing wet sand in my face
with the giggles and played thoughts never ignored I realized that you, me, we are human, yet adored
