The Beginning

Intro to a new relationship

 

I'm so glad you found me

Even more that you let me in

And through the time that we have shared

We have found where 'we' begin.

The words our thoughts we're sharing

Have brought 'us', you and me

now what we do will our world we make

Letting happiness come to be

I'm not sure that you are real

I am sure you are my dream

For when I feel you in my heart

Oh how my heart does gleam

I have no way of knowing

For this path to you is new

Yet I could bet you all of my love

You could be my dream come true

And I won't know any better

Than to fall in love with you

And pray one day you take my heart

to always be with you.

I like it. Romantic and hopeful. A wonderful tone of a person looking positively at a new relationship. The speaker is not overly confident but they are also open to the experience.
