If My Lifes Worth LivingA Poem by Donald Cole.....Through the years I get to notice As I walk upon this place The times I get to feel The sun upon my face Sometimes I get distracted And I won't feel You here I come to find, how I've been blind It's me who's not so near A gleam inside my busy mind I get to feel a breeze flow through If life is at all worth living It's because of You I know You walk among us The gifts You've brought me to I'm nothing in this world of mine But I'm everything to You Time presses me on now And I haven't got a chance Except for what You've given me In my time to dance I give You all my gratitude I pray that I'll be true If my lifes worth living It's because of You I'm trying to hold on here I know it's in Your will For if it weren't meant by You I wouldn't be here still How do I go on now In just a sea of pain The walking doesn't get me far And it's hurting in the rain And I come to realize You'll be carrying me through Beside me, if lifes worth living It's just because of You If my lifes worth living Its all because of You Don C 101310 © 2012 Donald Cole |
