The truth is bloodshot

when observing

through bloodshot eyes.

Rest your head upon a cloud

so your mind’s journey

can see past today.

Once midnight succumbs

to the light

your spirit can come to peace

with the seasons of change.

Then you can merge with the wind,

connect with the rain,

and become one with the sun.
