The Purring Muse

A fun ode to an excellent writer and great individual that goes by the pen name Muse.

 

That cat has claws

and knows how to use them.

They only come out

to protect loved ones

otherwise she’s as playful

as a kitten.

It is fun to stroke her

and hear her purr

but mess with her litter

and you’ll ruffle her fur…

Then God help you

cause you won’t have enough

band aids in the world

to cover your wounds.

If you decide to feed

this animal just remember

no Purina, she deserves Fancy Feast.
