The Power And The Myth (I Believe)A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) Aphrodite’s
eyes Are
too clear to see Why
I tear up When
there are clouds In
the sky. Still
she has the faith To
let the rain Quench
her thirst. She
selflessly lets Her
rosewater blood Flush
the tainted soil From
my stagnate veins. Her
mind becomes like helium When
my skull seems to full Of
nothing but hot air. She
casts a shadow at midnight So
I can feel at peace. She
the dream I can define, The
blindfold that gives me sight, The music
when I sing a cappella. When
asked why I let her shape my freedom? I
simply reply, “I believe
in miracles.” © 2012 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
