Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This

Written for a challenge on FB page... writing a quick poem with the following words... lucid, tie, awe, feel and fell... i wrote it in a minute on my phone standing in the parking lot of work.

 

I had a very lucid dream

that I fell for a porcelain angel.

Funny thing was I could feel

her heart embracing me

like a tie,

that left me in awe.

That means something, out of all woven glass,
within heat of the turning moves it was made....

An excellent blast of prose poetry. The intensifying of lucid with 'very' is a wonderful portal into dream imagery that I might have to steal myself.

The question I am left with -- does it feel cold to be embraced by what must be porcelain heart?
