The Armageddon Experience

 

Pressing that cool emotional blade

into my chest

is not as disturbing as the warmth

permeating through your lips

when you are kissing me

that sends a chill down my spine.

My mind chases its tail

trying to fathom how a heart so cold

could produce a touch hot enough

to set passion ablaze.

Crazy thoughts of God and Lucifer

working together to make the perfect balance

within one soul

 is a macabre dance inside my head.

Heaven and hell conspiring in experiment

makes all of Earth

a super Frankenstein.

So staring into your eyes of abyss

death frightens  me more than ever

knowing that good and evil

could be one in the same.

Cool! Earth as a Superfrankenstein. Like a fifties B Sci-fi. Zappo its alive and then multiplys, and starts eating other planets. Who threw the switch I wonder? Some alien children doing an assignment for thier evolutionary biology class maybe. The teacher holds it up. Now for the rest of you kids, this is an example of what not to do. Just a little too much testosterone in the primordial ooze mix.

Sweetly done, with the right touch of what lies within the coldest of hearts within.. How one with not a shed of love, cold to the bone, could still hold our hearts in their hands.. Sad how we can never just see what is truly there and be able to walk away from what we know will take us down. I think we are sometimes, our worst enemy. No?
