The Truth About ConsequencesA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)I was talking to a friend the other day about how being hurt by love can make you hesitate to try again. That lead to this poem.
SIlver charms turn to bullets At the sight of love Coming onto view. She knows its bite All to well. The red sea Of her feelings Has turned into flowing lava. Many guys have lost Their souls in the fire Trying to light The right flame. But it will take a real man With the patience To cross the broken bridge And chip away at the stone Built around her heart. Hopefully he will find her in time, Before her castle of protection Turns to an emotional tomb. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
