Dirty Water

 

The brain dead award

is being handed out

to the living dead

who see their rotting flesh

as rose colored silk

through the reflection in

any television set in the

so called free world

Hindsight does not come in HD,

leaving societies zombies

to miss the fine print

written on the wall;

mixing them together

may help bury your past

but will dirty your

stream of consciousness

that leads to the pool of serenity.”

As we grow globally many of us become more myopic. It is a sad testament to our selfishness and drive for material things while people die in genocides and go to bed hungry. Good poem.

The brain dead award should be handed out often in my opinion. So many today dont have a clue about the world or anything beyond their own shallow lives. I enjoyed this one a lot Cowboy. So much truth. ;-)

the reflection from the tv screen...more is seen when it is shut off...

"serenity is 150 HD channels" life in high def, but only on tv...we should experience it more in reality..

we need to get from in from of the tube...start seeing what is in the fine print on the wall..Our Demise if we don't get off our butts and do something about it.
where did the 60's go...such a complacent society now...and that wall is getting really filled with crap...but we don't see.
