I can't explain it, I just wrote it.

 

Hole hearted holes

In your heart

Are the black holes

That engulf my emotions

Like a plane

Over the Bermuda Triagle.

Your promises become

The rabbit hole

That is too small

For even a mouse to go.

You play hide and seek

When loneliness

Comes over to play.

That shadow

From the old oak tree

That we use to climb

Is just an illusion now,

Oh how it accents

The white in your eyes,

To bad your line of sight

Is now pitch black.

Now you won’t see it coming

When I say tag, "you’re it!!"

Indeed you might be lost in the sea of love...if you will just use the heart's eye and not the mind's eye. And if they say life is a game, love shouldn't be treated like it.
