I have not done a chofu in a couple years. For those of you not familiar with the form, it has six lines with a 5-2-7-5-2-7 syllable count. So thought I'd give it a shot again.

I like the form, not one I am familiar with. A beautiful, simple image that speaks of second chances...

How very beautiful, like a breath of fresh air on a spring day. ( thank you for pointing out structure for us, I wouldn't have recognized otherwise, love to learn new things) will want to try this form myself sometime soon :) hm, what this poem says to me, it feels like a break for sky, flying high and freefalling into new life, seasons maybe spring, maybe worries have been lifted, shifted, it feels light after a time of heavy lifting.
