A Moment Of Pondering

 

I watch with curious eyes

As the white clouds

Skate across the blue sky

With such beautiful grace

And all I can think

Is how I would rate

In God’s ink blot test

When I say

Each one looks like

A potential quenching

Of a thirsty heartland.

I can't really say what it is about this one that made me smile from ear to ear, maybe it was the reference to God being a psychoanalgist with clouds for ink blots, or maybe that struck a memory in me where I would lie on the grass and see forms of animals and such, even names, at times words, letters, or the reference to my fav thing which is a blue sky, whatever, this poem is a feels good poem. :)

Makes me want to go lay down on the grass and watch the sky.. Simplicity in a moment is the first thing I see..then more unfolds even after I read.. I love this pondering and the sky is one of my favorite worlds..
