A star spangled Banner

Hangs low;

Distracting the masses

With patriotic stichings

Of stars and stripes

Not even made in the U.S.A.;

Proving all that glitters

Is only gold in Hollywood.

 

The rest of America is covered

In the shadow

Of the banner’s

Protective lies;

When our defenses

Change direction

Depending on which way

The wind blows

Is only a reminder

To the rest of the world

We are the pigs

Waiting for the wolf

To blow our white house down.
