Keeping The Flame Alive(An Illusion In The Heart)A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Communication
burnout Causes
smokey promises, Leaving
little room to breath In a
house built without ventilation. Burning
carpet has no effect On feet
so dry From
trying to walk on water. Rooms
built with modern conveniences Left
little to the imagination Suffocating
the poet’s ability To
express metaphorical emotions.
Wisdom
is creativities Greatest
ally; So they
work in harmony To turn
the ashes Of the
aftermath Into
fairy dust That
will keep the illusion Of
happily ever after On the
silver screen… Until
the “Writer’s Block” movie Is turned
into a cheesy sequel. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
