Blood Flowing Like Wine(Drunken Beliefs)

Written after seeing the report of a shooting at a Jewish Temple yesterday.

 

The human condition is on life support

Cause so many people treat our differences

Like a terminal disease;

Playing doctor with a cure

By killing those they diagnose sick

Before they can infect others opinions.

Are they questioning their own faith?

Afraid they might be wrong,

For none of us know the absolute truth,

We just rely on our beliefs to get us by.

Why is it so hard to see

That deep down

Our blood flows into the same sea.

Everyone has their faith;

No matter how different they might seem

Our hearts are in the right place.

Bloodshed in the name of the Lord

Is like spilling the sacred wine.

So I will keep on believing

In the hope of a new day

And pray that mankind

Can find peace

In every human’s Dogmas

Jesus, yes, who the hell are we to act as the doctors destroying what we feel is disease. Different is not a disease...and they can look at us the same way...

some people are so filled with hate...a very sad state of the world...this stuff just keeps happening...
