The Taste Of Fear

The Taste Of Fear

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Valiant is the wolf

Knocking at the door

Of the devil’s minions

To denounce the pack

He has been running with

And terminate his membership.

With bloodshot eyes

As his badge of courage

And a crimson sense

For a secret weapon

The taste of fear

Will become his salvation.

i often fear that being like everyone else will be my demise...
i need to keep that sense of self, of self-longing, of just enough fear to keep from becoming stagnant, running with the crowd.

i am an old wolf with strongly held ideals from the 60's....a lost lobo in the wind of uncomfortable change.
