Expose To Expose The Weakness Beneath The Fur

Expose To Expose The Weakness Beneath The Fur

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

I close my eyes

So I can see

What lies beyond

The broken window,

For I know the shadows

Know more than

What is hiding within them;

So I must get inside their heads

In the hopes of survival.

Tis I know the secret

That thou who wears the red coat

Is really a man made wolf

Using the color

To hide its intentions;

And I, yes I

Have been anointed the hunter

That wears the black cloak

That will expose its weaknesses

Beneath a new moon.

Thank you very much.
Hmmm?
I see the teeth.
Is it a snarl of an enemy ready to tear out the throat of weaker foe?
Maybe it is simply a smile if irony as the hunter becomes the hunted...?
I know I'm grinning. ;)
Funny and a little frightening. Like a serious episode of "Scooby-door". Ha.

LOL, rut roe…that is a great comparison.
When the moon is big and bright and dreams reveal themselves, there's a supreme aura of a guiding light! I love the imagery and energy that flows through!
Beautiful poem!

Thank you very much.
to get inside the head of the shadows...interesting place to be...i close my eyes and search.
did you mean "to hide its intentions"?

a man made wolf...i like that idea as opposed to the werewolves who turn man into wolf...

those new moons always bring new surprises.

Thank you sweetie, good to have your presence in the Cafe.
To Grandmother's house we go.....I am never scared for the man in the moon watches over me...but maybe I should think about changing the color of my cloak....If I whistle will you hear me? Most intriguing write cowboy....what's your weakness?
