Magic Tree

Magic Tree

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Leaves glow like

Fairies dancing on moonbeams,

Light shimmers all around

As if the fairies are spreading

Their magic dust across Mother Earth

As a way to heal her hurt and abuse.

Fireflies gracefully circle around

The trunk, gazing at the shimmering essence

As a source of inspiration.

The enchanted radiance

Can be seen from heaven and beyond;

In fact angels use the positive light

As a guide when leading the lost

From the darkness.

What should come as no surprise

Is that this magical tree

That brings wondrous beauty

To a sometimes mundane world

         Is you…

                  Is me;

When we let

Faith enrich our spirit

And hope hydrate our soul.

Why thank you so much sir.
I love this refreshing verse, I especially enjoyed the last nine lines of it, on a clear day my friend a poet can see forever.

True that, thank you.
Here's a beautiful poem with a great message. For all we know everything may be an illusion, but if we believe in illusions, then we'll stay happy; believe in none at all, and we wont really be conscious beings anymore 'cause it's those illusions that make the wheels of Consciousness go round and round. What is pain, pleasure, love, hate, anger, sadness, joy, …and so forth? Give me an algorithm for anyone of them? There’s no algorithm. They are nothing, and yet they are everything that we are. Faith in intangibles is the wellspring of Consciousness. Naivety makes faith possible. Consciousness is fueled by naivety. We believe in Consciousness above all else, and it’s our one true nurturing god, and it’s obviously a god whom we may deal with on a personal basis by simply looking deep within ourselves.

K really enjoyed the insight you shared on and about my poem.
Sigh…that photo..your thoughts that bring the world of Fay to entwine in a positive way with the spiritual.. Softly uplifting.. I think I shall sit in a tree and watch this one unfold again!
