If you hear laughing in your head

When lost on a lunar less night

Tell the man in the moon to keep quiet

Before you tell on him for spying

And the Mother of all Mothers

Takes away the flame that is his inspiration.

is that laughing coming from the muse? i think she is the mother of all mothers...and often she takes away that flame of inspiration...so we have to keep very quiet, and tell the man in the moon to do the same, so that we hear her coming back.

marvelous short write...but then i always feel "less is more"---and these short pieces that say so much while at the same time leaving so much to the imagination, really send me.
