Caution: Deep Waters, No Lifeguard

Nothing provoked this, just giving a warning before swimming in my words.

 

You can say

My words don’t rhyme

Or my verses don’t flow

At a speed that keeps you afloat,

That is just fine;

For I am my own poetic stream

That is dispensed

From my own body of emotions.

So if you don’t

Like the current

Or scared of my undertow

I got a simple solution,

Don’t swim in my waters.

Don't swim in my waters...ha, I like that. Sometimes our work isn't meant to please everyone, but only ourselves. If they don't like it, then they can get the hell out of our pool. Good read, truly enjoyed this.
