Faith in mankind’s good side.

Puts my brain

Into intellectual hyperdrive.

 

Your face

Comforts my eyes

Like a warm bed at night.

 

Your legs

Revs up my libido

Like a V8 engine in overdrive.

 

You can break my heart,

That is fine with me,

I will just turn the shattered pieces

Into a diamond ring

To wear on your finger.

That was sweet, but you could have said as much about pretty flowers. Have you any idea how much flower petals attract hungry humble bumble bees? Beads of morning dew sparkle as diamonds do on yawning flowers in the early hours.

Wow, a Diamond ring, huh? How utterly breathtaking, my friend. This just hit the ball right out the park. So romantic, it is full of passion and then a little heartache in the end but then boom, you have a diamond ring... That stanza took my breath away.
