Train Of FogA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)For a friend going through a hard time. How
do you breathe When
the world you once knew Has
become the hands Around
your throat? A
boa constrictor Gripping
your fears Until
blood runs From
the eye of your dreams.
How
do you escape The
only life You’ve
ever known? Where
your spirit Had
once found Comfort
and love, But
now is nothing more Then
a wasteland Where
your emotions and faith Have
gone from a field of roses To
a lot full of dried weeds.
The
answers lie Deep
within the heart, Let
it be the beacon That
guides your soul ashore Where
it can roam free Of
hate, ridicule and judgment.
Follow
the tracks Your
spirituality has laid before you And
you will become A
train coming out of the fog, Leaving
the world in awe Of
how glorious and strong You
really are.
Believe
in your inner power And
nothing will slow you down. © 2014 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
