Train Of Fog

Train Of Fog

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

For a friend going through a hard time.

"

How do you breathe

When the world you once knew

Has become the hands

Around your throat?

A boa constrictor

Gripping your fears

Until blood runs

From the eye of your dreams.

How do you escape

The only life

You’ve ever known?

Where your spirit

Had once found

Comfort and love,

But now is nothing more

Then a wasteland

Where your emotions and faith

Have gone from a field of roses

To a lot full of dried weeds.

The answers lie

Deep within the heart,

Let it be the beacon

That guides your soul ashore

Where it can roam free

Of hate, ridicule and judgment.

Follow the tracks

Your spirituality has laid before you

And you will become

A train coming out of the fog,

Leaving the world in awe

Of how glorious and strong

You really are.

Believe in your inner power

And nothing will slow you down.

Sometimes when life tests us it makes us stronger so that we can jump onto those trains as they speed out of the fog. Your poem builds beautifully toward hope, you've got to have hope.

Ys you most certainly do, thank you for the kind review and sharing your wisdom.
Believe in your inner power
And nothing will slow you down.

Wise words here...Faith in yourself is stronger than any other faith. Your words are heartfelt and inspiring. A beautiful poem for a friend Dale.

Thank you gain Julie, I hope it helped her.
The vision of a train coming out of a fog are the strongest and most inspiring that I could think of to help me run through the thick tunnel of fog and emerge shinng. I will carry this image in my heart forever. Not just for the present, but in any future crisis. This will be victory over pain, not just of my spiritual strength but also of the goodness of a wonderful friend across seven seas with an amazing power to touch a life with his gift of empathy and wisdom. Thank you Dale. Sending you so much love and gratitude now.
