The Flame

The Flame

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

I could spend a lifetime searching the depth of my soul

With nothing but a small flame of hope

And find nothing that glitters like gold;

But that will not discourage me from continuing the journey,

For even if I find no treasures within myself

I know you will be there leaving me a trail that leads

To the light that will give me blind faith.

Wonderful write … I think though true faith has a tendency to shine a brighter light on things:)

You are right about that, thank you so much.
Superb flow in this one - conviction and continuation, we have to nurture both, light is never far away :) x

Awe thank you sweetie, your thoughts are always much appreciated.
You have more treasure within your soul than you will ever realize I think. This poetry is a marvelous introspective reflection.
