Oh Mighty SunriseA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)I friend of mine on the other side of the world took this pic for me cause they know I love sunrises.
Oh mighty sunrise Blind me with your beauty, So I may become ignorant About the nasty shadows On the horizon.
Oh mighty sunrise Burnout my eyesight, So my heart’s vision Can become clearer Than twenty/twenty.
Oh mighty sunrise Enlighten my world, So I can break The spell of fear cast By the witchin’ hour.
Oh mighty sunrise If you grant me these Three wishes, I will serenade you By singing, “Goodness, gracious, great ball of fire.”
