Fall From Grace

Fall From Grace

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

An angel clips her wings

In hopes of flying close

To the majestic eagle,

By destroying her perfect span

God has graced her with,

The balance of the halo is gone,

Causing her to crash into

The devil’s threshold,

Now she is left with no choice

But to sacrifice her innocence

To save her sanctuary's secrets,

And forever be marked

With the number of the beast.

Lovely as always, just a couple of things:

Should "innocents" be "innocence"?

The syntax of "the home she love's secrets" is a little awkward. You might consider rewording it "the secrets of the home she loves," or similar.
