Dressed Her Pride In Frou-Frou

So i was challenged to write a poem involving the word frou-frou by Corset… well here it is.

 

She looks so divine

In that silk dress

Even though her life

Is a complete mess.

 

Her top really

Shimmers and shines

That hides all the pain

Making her heart benign.

 

All her fancy clothes

Make her loved ones smile

Distracting them from the truth

How her body was defiled.

 

No one will can save her

From the life she’ll voluntarily lose

Cause she dress her pride

In endless frou-frou.

So often people hide their pain by trying to dress up and making people think nothing is wrong while their who world is falling apart. Well said in this poem Rock n Roll. Nice job!
