Aiding Without Baiting

A shadow spreads

Across your fear

Of being at the bottom

Of the pecking order;

You pray you never lose

Sight of the worm,

Thus becoming food for thought

In the mind of the biggest bird,

Who’s only desire

Is getting wealthy

Off the riches from other’s brains,

This is where you need to have faith

In the flight of your inner eagle,

That can soar higher

Than the ego of someone with the wisdom

Of a night crawler.
